Process Timeline
We identified that the Sur-Ron is a great electric moto platform but the seat needed improvement. We found that a traditional dirt bike seat fit perfectly on the frame.
beginning with early sketches we 3D scanned the bike with the new seat. From CAD we printed and tested our designs. Iterating until we got it right.
After relentless critique and refinement we landed on a design we liked.
Product testing.
After 3D printing and gauging public interest, we moved to tooling for injection molded parts.
Graphics kits were designed to promote and sell along with the kit.
