Working closely with our main client Boeing designing and engineering full scale functional airplane mockups to small parts and prototypes. A Technical Designer at Teague works closely with all facets of the design process, requiring a diverse knowledge of materials and processes.

This project is confidential to Boeing. Images below are available to the public. Working for Teague as a Technical Designer with a nimble team of 4-5, were tasked with creating two full scale mockups of Boeing’s new 777x airplane interior. This sales mockup had to be designed to be intuitively assembled and disassembled by workers all around the world while precisely replicating Boein’s geometry. My responsibility touched most parts of this project from the design of the PSU (passenger control unit) to overhead lighting. Taking design from CAD to physical parts, managing production and procurement. Manufacturing processes ranged form 5-axis cnc to hot wire cut EPS foam to bent sheet metal. Working with varieties of processes and materials to cost effectively deliver on time and on budget.
